Violence Misinterprets Our Message ..

Updated: Jun 10, 2020

A MESSAGE

I will NOT advocate "protest as you want, as long as you deliver your message", because that is foolery. Violent protesters waste our cause. I am scared for us, just as I am any other day, but the burning of buildings, stores, and homes for what? Violence welcomes violence. When protesting never forget your purpose. Your protest must be just as extreme as your cause. Is your cause foolery? Is the protest of BLACK LIVES MATTER foolery to you? If I was an outsider looking in I'll say YES. A clear message isn't violence. Only then the message is misinterpreted wrongfully.

I supported Malcolm X. Malcolm was the man of by any means necessary, but he still understood his cause. The violence of him tampered off his surroundings, but his actions moved by what was given to him. You've burned your buildings, now go home. That's not a protest. That is cowardliness to commit a crime you wouldn't on a normal day. What message were you giving a racist, the higher power, and the rest of our community who rest just as me? Your riot held volume of stupidity and was indeed a disgrace. That's all I took from it, and I am proudly Black, and for my people 100%. But those riots in Minneapolis, Atlanta, and New York weren't protest for greater causes of Black Lives Mattering.

"Martin was peaceful, and they killed him still." Someone said, and I could only laugh. Because yes Martin was killed, though look at all his significance that his PEACE left behind. Never forget, Martin Luther King was murdered because his significance was greater. Martin's message, his peace, and his voice of continuance was greater than any form of violence.

YOU'RE ANGRY I GET IT, BUT ME TOO. But as a black women or black man, we must distribute that anger in higher forms. Who are black aboriginal people? What are our roots? And what is our dying message? Unleash our heritage, roots, and prolonging message in your protest, by doing the unexpected. BE THE UNEXPECTED, which is everything doubted. They expect this behavior from us, because we're animals to them. Let's be greater in our movement, yet brutality isn't greater. Brutality is the bare minimum of ignorance. WE'RE ALREADY IGNORANT THUGS. Right? Police, Govern Offices, and Donald Trump are all mocking us, by meeting us halfway with anger, violence, and hatred. This is when we overcome like Martin, and remain focus as Malcolm, to understand our movement must be better than violence.

This world is scaring me. I see the fury, but I won't respect the ignorance. Stop using your anger to condone your violence, because you'll get nowhere. Just as a crook who hides his hands behind a rock, you're no better. When you riot by burning buildings, stealing phones, laptops, and everything else was BLACK LIVES MATTER really ever your cause? During this time, everyone seems to be relying the same message, but not enough people are protesting with peace. A ignorant being will hate me for this writing, but I stand firm with peace. We're violent enough to our opposing, but why not surprise them all with peace and the unexpected? I personally can't say what the unexpectable is, because well it's unexpected. We'll all see it once it happens right? Yet, it'll only happen with the continuance of peace. Progress only happens with persistence. But you'll be foolish to continue burning, stealing, and vandalizing.

Never misinterpret our message, because our message is too righteous to not understand. You must maintain a clear protest. Or they'll simply arrest us for recklessness and misdemeanors in hopes of changing our cause. Just to change the message we originally started our protest for, which is BLACK LIVES MATTERING.

There is power in peace. I know fury is our first instinct, because the repetition of racism is intolerable. And we’re tired, I’m tired of preaching the same message, but we were built for this. And sooner then later everything will work in our favor, patience is essential.

Violence seeks reaction because violence requires harm. No one wins with violence, but instead everyone is bound to mourn in violence.

Maintain a clear protest. Understand your focus of our people (black people) mattering is greater than any sense of violence. Don't give them reason to take your voice away, due to your violence, because only then it is their right.
