The Awakening (Coronavirus)

Updated: Jun 4, 2020

The coronavirus itself isn’t my focus. Instead the people, our mindsets, and the greater focus is.

The pandemic itself has stunned us all. We were moved unexpectedly; harshly by its unwelcoming visit. Our lives are paused, schools closed, and workplaces halted for business. Millennials are a bit too advanced to switch gears into survival mode, and generation “Z” is a bit too socially active to care or even spare a second eye. The most people know are mini clips given, edited, and cut to panic them via social media.

Majority have never seen such a globalized effect as the Coronavirus. Most are drowning in stupidity instead of survival, no one knows of the facts, yet only the given summaries. But no one cares to educate themselves either.

The quarantine has ruined our lives. Society has expressed enough, that the outside world is preferred over quality family time, and less social interaction has filled us all with depression and dying attention.

Quarantined who, and quarantined why?

The quarantine has not stopped us Millennial and generation “Z” fellows. The fear isn’t within the virus, it’s within the missing of fun, epic events, as parties and wedding ceremonies. Stay home why? Prepare why? It’s not THAT big of a deal you know? This quarantine is our protection from the virus. Though, no one craves protection nor reinsurance during this time. We’re fine with being given what’s distributed (insensitive updates and new cases of outbreaks) and that’s enough for us all.

No questions whatsoever, the why isn’t all that important.

Observing the world around me, I’m curious to know the why’s of life. Like why aren’t people panicking? Why aren’t people searching for answers to this crisis? Why are people carrying on as if this is not a crisis? What will stop us, at least for a second? I wonder more than I feel anyone truly knows. Though, not enough people are like me, not enough people care. You could holler out, “We’re in the end times, suit up and get right with your higher power,” yet nothing moves us as people anymore. Hardly anything important keeps us awake at night, we’re becoming narcissists. Though we’re perfectly fine with it.

We’re accommodating a society that praises carelessness; cruelty of any sort. The true coming of the Coronavirus is rash, though no one sees the biggest picture here. Human-beings are so abruptly centered around themselves, the newest trends, hairstyles, dances, and etc. to understand the bigger message. This brings me to the question, WHO ARE WE?

We’ve become socially narcissistic. That’s it. Religiously, politically, and righteously we’ve disappointed as a whole and or a loner. Nothing matters unless YOUR world comes tumbling down, and I find that inconsiderably devastating. We’re tired of being home, while some people are outside everyday with no home being a choice.

Pray for those stuck alone in depression due to their hair, nails, and wardrobe not being the best right now.

Well wishes to those stuck in poverty, but being out of work for a few days is devastating. How can people do it?

I’m dying of boredom.

This virus is ruining everything, and they’re taking it too far.

I rather take nice pictures with a mask and still travel instead, what’s the worst that could happen?

The focus of this virus rests within the selfishness of people. Biblical the Bible speaks of the end of time, in revelations as The breaking of the seven seals, The rapture of the Bride, and all these significant events. Religiously, the world is near its ending. Compared to broadcast as CNN, new channels, and conferences of our President speaking of the Coronavirus we see the virus worsening and prolonging. Politically, the world remains at halt, restaurants, workplaces, schools, and any other major events. And that brings me to righteously, simply being a “righteous person”, being in the right relation to others. I speak on righteousness to express we need more empathetic people. Perhaps if, someone else’s world comes tumbling, at least let it move you as a person, just a bit.

Society has taunted our mindsets, perhaps eternally. The crisis the world is facing proves this theory, as life seemingly pushes to carry on past the impossible (Quarantine). I won’t advocate for life to stop for you nor anyone you love, though no one shows up and shows out in times of need. You’re the flyest at events, you’re the loudest and most worthwhile person there. Though, during a time where people with REAL depression, anxiety, homelessness, and mental illnesses need friends, advocates, and a reason to proceed, Where are you?

The Awakening

This awakening will prepare the best of its people. Religiously and Politically speaking very well. But, for those so deeply connected with themselves to not at least carry a message worth hearing to someone else is tragic. This is my message, many may disagree, but either way it’s here.

Your selfish struggle during this quarantine, does not match the struggle of those really struggling with things as:

Mental Illness

Poverty

Abuse

Neglect

Health

Very much so life itself, because it’s really hard here for many. Believe it or not, your struggle may be very minor to someone else. Always be grateful, with life, KNOWLEDGE, and all the smaller things you think are nothing.

The final thought, I write this nevertheless to say this quarantine is more than just a virus. This should make you wonder religiously and or politically are you living this thing called life graciously?

Until next time, remain safe and in quarantine!
